Cookies
Nothing is stored in your browser until you choose. The banner asks once. If you click Decline, we only remember that choice. If you click Accept, we set a random visitor id and record which pages you view, where you came from (referrer and campaign tags), and an approximate location and organization derived from your IP address on your first visit. We do not store your IP address, and we use no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers; the analytics are our own and are never sold or shared.
If you later sign in to the customer portal from the same browser, we link that visitor history to your email so our team knows who you are.

Opting out takes effect immediately and stops page-view tracking; email us and we will also delete your visitor record. IP-based company lookups are done by our provider ipapi.is at the moment of your first visit and the raw IP is never stored.
What data the leaderboard shows
Imagine Benchmark ranks B2B company pages and professionals by how their public LinkedIn posts perform. For each tracked account we store the name, public role and company, the public profile link, follower count, and for each public post its date, text, and public reaction, comment and share counts. We do not log in to LinkedIn to collect it, and we do not collect private messages, connections, email addresses or anything not visible on a public post.
Numbers are statistical summaries (a typical post, a range, a rank) computed with the published method on the Methodology page. They describe post performance, not a person. Rankings are estimates with uncertainty, can be out of date, and are not professional or financial advice.
Our basis for processing this public professional data is legitimate interest (benchmarking public B2B content), balanced by the opt-out below. Data is kept while an account is tracked and deleted within 30 days of a removal request.
Opt out, correct or remove
Anyone can ask to be removed from the leaderboard and dashboard, no reason needed. Email privacy@imagineai.me from your work email, or include your LinkedIn profile link, and tell us whether you want to be removed or corrected. We hide the account within 2 business days and delete its stored posts within 30 days, and it will not be re-added.
Companies can ask the same for their company page. If you think something here is wrong or infringes your rights, write to the same address and we will respond within 2 business days.
Customer portal
When you sign in at /login we store your email address and the companies you choose to follow, to show you your benchmark. If your email is not on a customer account we keep it as an access request so our team can follow up; ask us to delete it at any time. Sign-in codes are sent through our email provider (Resend). Data is hosted with Supabase and Vercel in the United States.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK GDPR or California CCPA/CPRA) you can ask to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell personal information. Contact privacy@imagineai.me.
